Help CenterDeck from URL

Turn a web page or YouTube video into flashcards

Paste any public URL — an article, a documentation page, or a YouTube video — and MemoForge turns it into a deck.

How it works

1

Start from the From URL tile

On your dashboard, tap From URL (or in a project: Add material → URL tab).

2

Paste your link

Any public web page works — articles, documentation, Wikipedia, tutorials. For YouTube, standard, short, embed, and mobile links are all supported.

3

Add a prompt and generate

Tell the AI what to focus on, then generate. A web article or YouTube video costs 5 credits each, with all flashcards included.

Web pages

  • The page must be publicly accessible — no logins, paywalls, or geo-restrictions.
  • Gemini's URL context handles roughly 2 million tokens, which covers most articles.
  • 5 credits per article, regardless of length.

YouTube videos

  • The video must have captions enabled — auto-generated captions work, but may contain transcription errors for technical terms.
  • 5 credits per video, regardless of length.
  • Private videos, live streams without a processed transcript, and videos without captions cannot be used.
